SEO Pirates Attack in Miami?

According to a recent post on SEM Sunday, someone’s idea of SEO has turned into piracy and business identity theft. In a search on Google Maps for Miami Hotels they came across a top result of Miami Moving and Movers.

(Begin Sarcasm Font) That doens’t seem odd to me because I know that when I do a search for Hotels what I really meant to search for was movers.  (End Sarcasm Font) Oh no wait, that’s not true at all.

Apple’s 3 Muskateers Soon to be 2?

What’s the difference between 626%, 130%, and 7%?  For Apple, it means the traditional iPod line isn’t quite measuring up. MG Siegler writes on TechCrunch that he believes “the iPod, as we know it, is dying.” In my opinion, even though sales growth hasn’t increased by as much, iPods are still selling.  Maybe, instead of planning their end, Apple should find a way to make it their “economy car” model. Putting a cool gadget within reach of millions around the world who would love to own a fancy Apple product but can’t afford something running several hundred dollars. Steve Ballmer: A Man of Great Vision…?

I was browsing TechCrunch.com today when I realized – it’s funny to watch people scramble.

Especially when they are important, rich, well-known people like Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO.  Why is Mr. Ballmer scrambling? Because he doesn’t quite know what to make of Google’s recent announcement to launch it’s own operating system – Google Chrome OS, preliminarily focused on netbooks. As pointed out several times in the TechCrunch blog post – How We Know Chrome OS Will Be A Hit: Steve Ballmer Doesn’t Think So – Steve hasn’t been the most accurate in his vision for the future.
